Some observations and thoughts...

Just a quick post as I come to the end of a full day:

1. I wonder how and why mint has become such a part of morning. I have minty toothpaste and minty shampoo and soap. I like it. But when was that moment when someone said let's make this plant part of cleanliness... and of gum and candy canes too.

2. I wouldn't want to be a meteorologist in Wichita. The day's outlook changed minute by minute while I was there. I think if I did have that job I would just have a big dart board with different sections labeled "deluge", "humidity", "tornado warning", etc. The anchorperson would say, "And now, Squigs with the weather." And I would throw a dart and shrug my shoulders.

3. I don't know why my moustache is more blonde than the rest of my hair. I honestly didn't wake up one day and say, "Hey! I'm going to add some breezy highlights to my hair today... but only to my moustache." That would have been weird.

4. I'm a teensie bit frustrated that the Blogger spell-checker disses my fancy schmancy spellings of "moustache" and "blonde." It also dissed "teensie" which I would have predicted, but it didn't diss "disses" or "dissed"... but now that I type it, it did dis "diss", but not after I removed one "s." Is it just me? No? Yes? Ah... fiddlesticks!
